Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un dispositivo para conducir un panel de visualizacion de plasma que tiene una pluralidad de celdas colocadas en filas y columnas, dicho dispositivo comprendiendo medios de direccion de fila (I1, I2, C1, D1, 17), para dirigir selectivamente las filas de celda de visualizacion y crear, en donde se requiera, en cooperacion con los medios para aplicar selectivamente voltajes de datos a las columnas de visualizacion, una descarga electrica dentro de la celda colocada en la interseccion de la fila y la columna seleccionada durante una fase de direccion, y medios de sostenido (I3, I4, I5, I6) para sostener las descargas electricas dentro de dicha celda durante una fase de sostenido inmediatamente siguiente a la fase de direccion. De acuerdo a la invencion, los medios de direccion de fila (I1, I2, C1, D1, I7) y/o los medios de sostenido (I3, I4, I5, I6) son capaces de permitir a una corriente bi-direccional fluir en las celdas de visualizacion durante las fases de direccion y/o sostenido. Las corrientes capacitivas y de emision de luz que aparecen durante estas fases pueden de esta manera fluir libremente y no crear interferencia electromagnetica.
