Abstract
Se proporciona una unidad de telemetria (100) para montarse al interior de una llanta neumatica, al cual incluye sensores para medir la presion y temperatura dentro del neumatico y un transmisor de RF para transmitir los datos medidos a un lugar remoto de presentacion visual a bordo. La unidad (100) incluye un elemento piezoelectrico (114) soportado en un alojamiento (112) con un accionador (136) dispuesto para hacer contacto con el elemento (114), para desviar al elemento (114) en respuesta a las fuerzas externas que actuen sobre el accionador (136) durante la rotacion del neumatico. Por cada rotacion del neumatico, se generan impulsos ciclicos de carga electrica por la desviacion del elemento (114). La unidad (100) incluye medios de control que controlan el consumo de carga almacenada cuando se mide y transmite datos, y estan dispuestos para variar la velocidad de transmision de datos desde la unidad (100) dependiendo de la velocidad giratoria del neumatico.
