Abstract
Protocolo de bajo consumo de energia. Se proporciona una unidad de telemetria (100) para montarse al interior de una llanta neumatica, la cual incluye un elemento piezoelectrico (114) soportado en un alojamiento (112), con un accionador (136) dispuesto para hacer contacto con el elemento (114), para desviar al elemento (114) en respuesta a las fuerzas externas que actuen sobre el accionador (136) durante la rotacion del neumatico. Por cada rotacion del neumatico, se generan impulsos ciclicos de carga electrica por la desviacion del elemento (114). La carga es almacenada y utilizada bajo un protocolo de consumo de energia que incluye las etapas de: iniciar el suministro de energia al circuito de medicion de datos para medir datos del ambiente local a la unidad (100); deshabilitar el suministro de energia al circuito de medicion de datos; iniciar el suministro de energia al circuito de transmision de datos; transmitir datos desde el circuito de medicion y deshabilitar el suministro de energia al circuito de transmision. El protocolo de consumo de energia minimiza por lo tanto el consumo de la energia generada, durante la medicion y transmision de datos por la unidad (100).
