Abstract
La invencion provee un metodo y aparato para reciclar cartuchos de toner; una trituradora rompe los cartuchos de toner en piezas, liberando asi cualquier toner desde el interior de los cartuchos sustancialmente sellados de otra manera; las piezas de toner junto con cualquier polvo de toner libre entonces se alimentan a traves de una etapa de separacion que incluye un separador mecanico y un separador de criba; cada separador emplea una pantalla de tamizado, que permite que pequenas particulas caigan a traves de la pantalla mientas detiene las piezas grandes; ambos separadores agitan las piezas para movilizar las particulas mas pequenas; se utiliza un sistema de extraccion al vacio para retirar de alrededor de las piezas de cartucho y un ionizador de aire se incluye para alimentar aire ionizado en el aparato para reducir cualquier formacion de carga electronica estatica; el toner se remueve del aire extraido mediante un recolector de polvo.
