Abstract

Un metodo de tratamiento o purificacion de un concentrado de molibdeno que contiene ademas cobre; este metodo comprende la etapa de someter el concentrado de molibdeno a oxidacion a presion en presencia de oxigeno y una solucion de alimentacion que contiene cobre (por ejemplo CuSO4) y haluro (por ejemplo CuCl2) para producir una solucion de oxidacion a presion conteniendo cobre y un residuo solido conteniendo molibdeno. La solucion de oxidacion a presion puede combinarse con la solucion de alimentacion a una segunda oxidacion a presion en la que un concentrado de cobre se trata para la recuperacion de cobre a partir de alli.
