Abstract
La invencion se refiere a un procedimiento para la purificacion de toluenodiisocianato a partir de una corriente alimento de destilacion bruta que comprende menos de 2% en peso de fosgeno caracterizado por a) fraccionar la corriente alimento de destilacion bruta que comprende menos de 2% en peso de fosgeno para eliminar el disolvente y, opcionalmente los residuos de reaccion, produciendo un alimento de toluilenodiisocianato bruto que comprende menos de 20% en peso de disolvente, y b) separar la corriente alimento de toluilenodiisocianato bruto que comprende menos de 20% en peso de disolvente en una columna de destilacion con pared divisoria en cuatro fracciones producto P1 a P4, en las que P1 es una corriente de gas enriquecida en componentes de bajo punto de ebullicion en fase vapor y disolvente, P2 es un producto enriquecido en componentes de bajo punto de ebullicion y disolvente, P3 es un producto de cola enriquecido en componentes de alto punto de ebullicion que comprende toluenodiisocianato y P4 es una corriente de toluenodiisocianato producto pobre en componentes de bajo punto de ebullicion, de alto punto de ebullicion y residuos de reaccion.
