Abstract

En un proceso de fosfatizacion de superficies de metal, que por lo menos consisten en parte de hierro o acero, de acuerdo con la tecnología de bajo contenido de zinc, las superficies de metal se ponen en contacto con soluciones fosfatizadoras de ácido acuosas a una temperatura de 30 a 65 degree C durante un periodo de 1 a 8 minutos, cuyas soluciones contienen; 0.4 a 2.0 g/l Zn; 7 a 25 g/l P2O5; 0.005 a 0.5 g/l peroxido (calculado como H2O2); 0.01 a 10 g/l formiato (calculado como ion de formiato), están libres de clorato y nitrito agregado, y en las cuales la relacion en peso de P2O5 libre a P2O5 total se ha ajustado a un valor en el rango de 0.03 a 0.20, y el contenido de ácido libre se ha ajustado a un valor en el rango de 0.5 a 2.5. Las soluciones fosfatizadoras pueden contener además hasta 30 g/l de nitrato así como manganeso, magnesio, calcio, litio, tungstato, vanadato, molibdato o sus combinaciones, posiblemente además níquel y/o cobalto, cada uno en una cantidad de hasta 3 g/l, posiblemente además hasta 0.030 g/l de cobre. Las relaciones en peso de Mn : Zn, Mg : Zn, Ca : Zn y posiblemente (Ni y/o Co) : Zn deben ser no mayores que 2 : 1. El proceso es adecuado en particular para la preparacion de superficies de metal para el electro revestimiento por inmersion subsecuente, en particular el electro revestimiento por inmersion catodico.
