Abstract

La invencion se relaciona con un dispositivo para producir cubos de hielo. Cuenta con una unidad congeladora (6) que tiene una pluralidad de regiones congeladoras (7) accesibles desde el exterior de la unidad (6) para un cubo de hielo 81) cada una, un dispositivo (9) para suministrar a las regiones congeladoras (7) un exceso de agua para producir hielo limpio, y una region despachadora (19) para cubos de hielo (1) liberados desde la unidad congeladora (6). Entre la unidad congeladora (6) y la region despachadora (19) hay un dispositivo (18) para poner dos cubos de hielo (1) juntos y formar un cubo compuesto (1(A+b)). El dispositivo (18) tiene dispositivos de almacenaje adyacentes para los cubos de hielo (1) que se van a juntar y que se pueden mover conjuntamente para colocar a los cubos de hielo (1) de manera que sus superficies planas humedas quedan juntas, en donde la trayectoria del dispositivo combinador (18) y la region despachadora (19), y la propia region despachadora (19) se enfrían a una temperatura por debajo de 0 degree C.
