Abstract

Se describe un proceso para recuperar y eliminar residuos humedos producidos en cubilotes y los metales contenidos en los mismos, con el polvo siendo capturado por un dispositivo de filtro. El proceso está caracterizado en que los componentes residuales humedos se secan utilizando gases de desperdicio del sistema y se recuperan o convierten a escoria para ser reintroducidos en el horno. Este procedimiento elimina los altos costos de desechos en vertedores de desperdicios y hace más eficiente uso de substancias utiles disponibles y de la energía del gas que se desperdicia.
