Abstract

Los intercalados formados mediante el contacto de un material estratificado, por ejemplo, un filosilicato, con un monomero intercalante que tiene una funcionalidad seleccionada a partir del grupo que consiste de un hidroxilo; un polihidroxilo; un anillo aromático; un carbonilo; un ácido carboxílico; un ácido policarboxílico; un aldeído; una acetona; una amina; una amida; un éter; un éster; y mezclas de los mismos, para sorber o intercalar el monomero intercalante entre plaquetas adyacentes del material o intercalar el monomero intercalante entre plaquetas adyacentes del material estratificado.
