Abstract
Se presenta un enfriador (1) para enfriar material particulado desde un horno de secar, en donde el material al entrar al enfriador (1) se distribuye a un lecho de material sobre una superficie soportante estacionaria (11) en forma de una charola, en tanto que un gas enfriante, como aire de la atmósfera se sopla a través del lecho de material desde inyectores en la charola de una manera uniforme y distribuida conveniente. El material se transporta hacia adelante sobre la superficie soportante (1) y a través del enfriador (1) por medio de un dispositivo de transporte mecánico separado (17). Así se hace posible el separar las tres funciones de tal enfriador, esto es, para soportar el material, para distribuir el gas material, para distribuir el gas enfriante a través de la superficie de soporte y para transportar el material hacia adelante sobre la superficie soportante, en funciones que son independientes entre si, de modo que cada función puede llevarse a un estado óptimo.
