Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a composiciones catalizadoras para oxicloración de etileno para producir 1, 2-dicloroetano. Los catalizadores comprenden cobre, al menos un metal alcalino, al menos un metal de tierra rara y al menos un metal de Grupo IIA, en un soporte de alta área superficial o gran área superficial para aplicaciones de lecho fluido o en un soporte de alta o baja área superficial para aplicaciones de lecho fijo. Las composiciones catalizadoras se preparan por deposición de los metales en un soporte. El uso de las composiciones catalizadoras de la invención en la oxicloración de etileno a EDC, resulta con alta eficiencia de alto porcentaje en etileno, alta pureza de producto EDC y alta conversión de HCI en por ciento, sin exhibir pegajosidad de catalizador. Un procedimiento para oxicloración de etileno para producir 1, 2-dicloretano, también se describe. El procedimiento se basa en contactar la mezcla de etileno, oxígeno o gas que contiene oxígeno y cloruro de hidrógeno con una composición catalizadora fluidizada o fija en una zona de reacción y recuperar 1, 2-dicloroetano de los efluentes de la zona de reacción.
