Abstract
El método y el aparato para recuperar arena prácticamente pura a partir de un horno de tratamiento térmico; en donde una pieza fundida con núcleo de arena y/o molde de arena, que comprende arena rodeada por un aglutinante combustible, fijado a la misma se introduce en el horno de tratamiento térmico; o, en donde las porciones de núcleo de arena y/o molde de arena que no están fijados a la pieza fundida se introducen en el horno de tratamiento térmico. En donde, la recuperación dentro del horno se lleva a cabo, en parte, mediante un fluidizador que promueve la combustión del aglutinante mediante uno o más procedimientos de agitación, calentamiento. En donde, las características de la arena recuperada se controlan selectivamente controlando el tiempo de secado de la arena dentro del horno de tratamiento térmico.
