Abstract

La invención se relaciona con un método para desmoldar una pieza colada (M), colada a partir de una fundición de metal ligero, de un molde de colado (1) que comprende por lo menos un núcleo de colado (2-7, 18a-21b, 30) que representa una abertura de pasaje (Z1-Z3) en la pieza colada (M) conectando dos lados exteriores de la pieza colada y es producido a partir de un material de moldeo el cual es unido por medio de un aglutinante el cual se descompone bajo la influencia de temperatura, en donde el molde de colado (1) experimenta un tratamiento térmico en un horno (O) para el desmolde, durante el cual éste es calentado a una temperatura a la cual el aglutinante pierde su efecto aglutinante. Con el fin de aumentar la efectividad de este método, la invención propone, en el horno (O), hacer fluir gas caliente (H) a través del pasaje (D1-D4) el cual está formado en el núcleo de colado (18a-21b) del molde de colado (1) representando la abertura de pasaje, la temperatura de dicho gas caliente (H) correspondiendo al menos a la temperatura a la cual el aglutinante del material de moldeo pierde su efecto aglutinante de manera que el núcleo de colado (18a-21b) representando la abertura de pasaje (Z1-Z3) se descompone en fragmentos (B) o partículas de arena separadas como consecuencia de la influencia del gas caliente.
