Abstract
Se describe un método para reducir la cantidad de microorganismos en el aire contaminado, el cual comprende las etapas de: suministrar un medio de filtración del aire que contienen fibra de vidrio, en donde has una cantidad eficaz antimicrobialmente de un agente antimicrobiano inorgánico, y forzar el aire contaminado a través del filtro de aire, por lo cual se reduce la cantidad de microorganismos del aire contaminado. La invención además se refiere al medio para reducir la cantidad de microorganismos presente en el aire contaminado, al igual que a métodos para aplicar los agentes antimicrobiales inorgánicos al medio y para que el medio esté presente en un filtro rígido de aire.
