Abstract
Se separa fierro bivalente bajo forma de hematita, de una solución acuosa, por ejemplo una solución de sulfato de pH 2.5-4.5, haciendo pasar la solución a través de un reactor tubular, en el cual se mantiene una temperatura de 170°C aproximadamente y en el cual se inyecta un gas oxidante en puntos múltiples de inyección dispuestos a lo largo de un reactor, de manera a oxidar el fierro gradualmente a medida que la solución progresa en el reactor, el precipitado de hematita obtenido, se filtra bien.
