Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a mildiu pulverulento y en especial mildiu pulverulento causado por el fitopatógeno Erysiphe heraclei, plantas de zanahoria resistentes o plantas de Daucus carota, en donde la resistencia al mildiu pulverulento es proporcionada por uno o dos genes dominantes de resistencia a mildiu pulverulento. La presente invención también se refiere a marcadores moleculares genéticamente ligados con el presente mildiu pulverulento y en especial mildiu pulverulento causado por genes que proporcionan resistencia al fitopatógeno Erysiphe heraclei y su uso para identificar plantas de zanahorias o plantas de Daucus carota, que son resistentes a mildiu pulverulento y en especial mildiu pulverulento causado por el fitopatógeno Erysiphe heraclei. La presente invención también se refiere a semillas, partes de plantas, polen, células de óvulos, callos, cultivo en suspensión, embriones somáticos y partes de plantas comestibles de las presentes plantas.
