Description
偏性寄生菌としての該真菌を、適当な感受性ニンジン植物において、感染葉を植物の間に置くことにより維持した。ファンの使用によって、気流により胞子を植物の間に拡散させて、植物の間に感染を広げた。
屋外試験をオランダの気候条件で行った。真菌の接種物を実施例1に記載したように調製した。屋外で試験する材料を、5月前半の間に直接播種した。
前記の2つの利用可能な抵抗性の遺伝資源を用いて、各抵抗性資源と感受性ニンジン系統とを交配し、得られたF1植物を自家受粉することにより、2つのF1S1集団を作製した。抵抗性植物3に対し感受性植物1と分かれたことから、いずれの場合も抵抗性は優性形質に基づくことがわかった。
前記抵抗性資源の種子サンプルは、NCIMB(Ferguson Building; Craibstone Estate, Bucksburn, Aberdeen, Scotland, AB21 9YA)に、次のとおり寄託された:
・NCIMB 42389(D. carota #954561)、2015年3月19日
・NCIMB 42397(D. carota #1360572)、2015年4月16日
Claims (14)
- 植物病原菌Erysiphe heracleiにより引き起こされるウドンコ病に抵抗性のDaucus carota植物であって、該植物の第3染色体が、
PRJNA268187の配列における第3染色体の位置1,663,369から1,672,078までのヌクレオチド配列を含む、第1のヌクレオチド配列、および/または
PRJNA268187の配列における第3染色体の位置45,302,020から45,311,024までのヌクレオチド配列を含む、第2のヌクレオチド配列
を含む、Daucus carota植物。 - 該植物の第3染色体が、該第1のヌクレオチド配列および該第2のヌクレオチド配列を含む、請求項1に記載のDaucus carota植物。
- 該第1のヌクレオチド配列が、第3染色体において2.68cMに位置する、請求項1または2に記載のDaucus carota植物。
- 該第2のヌクレオチド配列が、第3染色体において76.7cMに位置する、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のDaucus carota植物。
- 該第1のヌクレオチド配列が、寄託番号NCIMB 42389で寄託されたDaucus carota植物の種子から得られる、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のDaucus carota植物。
- 該第2のヌクレオチド配列が、寄託番号NCIMB 42397で寄託されたDaucus carota植物の種子から得られる、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のDaucus carota植物。
- 該第1のヌクレオチド配列が、配列番号1、配列番号2、配列番号3、配列番号4、配列番号5、配列番号6および配列番号7からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つのゲノム配列をさらに含む、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のDaucus carota植物。
- 該第2のヌクレオチド配列が、配列番号8、配列番号9、配列番号10、配列番号11、配列番号12、配列番号13、配列番号14および配列番号15からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つのゲノム配列をさらに含む、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のDaucus carota植物。
- 該植物がハイブリッド植物である、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のDaucus carota植物。
- 該ハイブリッド植物が不稔ハイブリッド植物である、請求項9に記載のDaucus carota植物。
- 該不稔ハイブリッド植物が、雄性不稔、または細胞質雄性不稔ハイブリッド植物である、請求項10に記載のDaucus carota植物。
- 該植物がDaucus carota spp. sativusである、請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載のDaucus carota植物。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載のDaucus carota植物の、種子、食用部分、花粉、卵細胞、カルス、浮遊培養物、不定胚、胚、または植物部分。
- 植物病原菌Erysiphe heracleiにより引き起こされるウドンコ病に対し抵抗性であるDaucus carota植物を同定するための、
PRJNA268187の配列における第3染色体の位置1,663,369から1,672,078までのヌクレオチド配列からなる、ヌクレオチド配列(1)、および/または
PRJNA268187の配列における第3染色体の位置45,302,020から45,311,024までのヌクレオチド配列からなる、ヌクレオチド配列(2)
の使用であって、Daucus carota植物がヌクレオチド配列(1)および/またはヌクレオチド配列(2)を含む場合、該植物は該ウドンコ病に対し抵抗性であると同定される、使用。
