Abstract
Description
偏性寄生菌としての該真菌を、適当な感受性ニンジン植物において、感染葉を植物の間に置くことにより維持した。ファンの使用によって、気流により胞子を植物の間に拡散させて、植物の間に感染を広げた。
屋外試験をオランダの気候条件で行った。真菌の接種物を実施例1に記載したように調製した。屋外で試験する材料を、5月前半の間に直接播種した。
前記の2つの利用可能な抵抗性の遺伝資源を用いて、各抵抗性資源と感受性ニンジン系統とを交配し、得られたF1植物を自家受粉することにより、2つのF1S1集団を作製した。抵抗性植物3に対し感受性植物1と分かれたことから、いずれの場合も抵抗性は優性形質に基づくことがわかった。
前記抵抗性資源の種子サンプルは、NCIMB(Ferguson Building; Craibstone Estate, Bucksburn, Aberdeen, Scotland, AB21 9YA)に、次のとおり寄託された:

- 該第1の抵抗性遺伝子が、寄託番号NCIMB 42389で寄託されたDaucus carota植物の種子から得られる、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のDaucus carota植物。
- 該第2の抵抗性遺伝子が、寄託番号NCIMB 42397で寄託されたDaucus carota植物の種子から得られる、請求項2〜5のいずれかに記載のDaucus carota植物。
- 該第1の抵抗性遺伝子が、配列番号1、配列番号2、配列番号3、配列番号4、配列番号5、配列番号6および配列番号7からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの分子マーカーによって特定可能である、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のDaucus carota植物。
- 該第2の抵抗性遺伝子が、配列番号8、配列番号9、配列番号10、配列番号11、配列番号12、配列番号13、配列番号14および配列番号15からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの分子マーカーによって特定可能である、請求項2〜7のいずれかに記載のDaucus carota植物。
