Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con plantas de Apium graveolens donde las plantas son resistentes al patógeno vegetal Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. Apii linaje 4 y donde la resistencia es codificada por una región genómica o una combinación de al menos dos o tres regiones genómicas. La presente invención se relaciona además con métodos para identificar las plantas resistentes a Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. Apii linaje 4 de la presente y con marcadores moleculares para utilizarse en los métodos de la presente. Específicamente, la presente invención se relaciona con plantas de Apium graveolens, donde las plantas son resistentes al patógeno vegetal Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. Apii linaje 4 y donde la resistencia es codificada por una combinación de al menos dos regiones genómicas, una región genómica se localiza sobre el grupo de ligamiento 4 entre 28 y 33 cM; y una región genómica se localiza sobre el grupo de ligamiento 5 entre 56 y 60 cM.
