Abstract

La invención trata sobre un método para revisar neumáticos, que consta de: - proporcionar un neumático (200) a revisar; - asociar una primera fuente de luz (110) y una segunda fuente de luz (108) disponibles para activarse de manera independiente con una cámara (105); - aplicar una primera fuerza contra una primera porción de superficie (202) del neumático para generar una primera porción de superficie deformada; - iluminar la primera porción de superficie deformada del neumático con una primera radiación de luz emitida por una primera fuente de luz (110); - mantener la segunda fuente de luz (108) inactiva durante la deformación; - obtener una primera porfión de superficie deformada iluminada por la primera radiación de luz a través de la cámara (105); - remover la primera fuerza de la primera porción de superficie del neumático; - seleccionar una segunda porción de superficie al menos parcialmente distinta a la primera porción de superficie del neumático; - iluminar la segunda porción de superficie sin deformar del neumático con una segunda radiación de luz emitida por la segunda fuente de luz (108); - obtener una segunda imagen de la segunda porción de superficie sin deformar iluminarla mediante la segunda radiación de luz a través de la cámara (105); y - procesar la primera imagen y la segunda imagen para detectar posibles defectos en la primera porción de superficie y en la segunda porción de superficie del neumático. La invención también trata sobre un aparato para revisar neumáticos.
