Abstract
Se describe un proceso para recuperar 1,3-butadieno de una fracción de C4, en donde los procesos de extracción de butadieno se pueden poner en operación a una presión intermedia usando un compresor tipo anillo líquido. El uso de un compresor de anillo líquido, entre otras opciones de proceso presentadas en la presente, pueden reducir ventajosamente los costos de capital y los costos de operación, similar a la opción sin compresor, mientras que mitigan los riesgos asociados con las temperaturas y presiones de operación más altas asociadas con la opción sin compresor. Así, las modalidades de los procesos revelados en la presente abarcan los mejores aspectos del diseño convencional (baja presión, con un compresor) con las ventajas del diseño sin compresor (bajo costo de capital y de operación), también como otras ventajas únicas a los sistemas revelados en la presente.
