Abstract

Se describe un procedimiento de extracción de ácido ferúlico presente en una etapa acuosa, obtenida mediante el tratamiento de al menos un material vegetal, y que también contiene polisacáridos, donde dicho procedimiento comprende al menos las siguientes etapas: 1) el tratamiento de dicho material vegetal seguido de la separación de sólidos/líquidos para recuperar una fase sólida y una fase líquida acuosa que comprende el ácido ferúlico y dichos polisacáridos, 2) el tratamiento de dicha fase líquida para separar selectivamente los polisacáridos por una parte y el ácido ferúlico presente en una fracción acuosa por otra parte, 3) la concentración de dicha fracción acuosa que contiene el ácido ferúlico para recuperar un fluido concentrado en ácido ferúlico, 4) la recuperación bajo forma sólida del ácido ferúlico.
