Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para cristalizar D,L-metionina a partir de soluciones acuosas y/o suspensiones que contienen D,L-metionina y sales de amonio de D,L-metionina, que tienen un contenido de Met de 70 g/Kg - 180 g/Kg, un contenido de NH4+ de 1 g/Kg - 5 g/Kg, en presencia de un aditivo de cristalización, el cual comprende un tensoactivo no iónico o aniónico o una mezcla de varios tensoactivos no iónicos o aniónicos, en el cual la temperatura de la solución y/o suspensión se hace disminuir directamente o gradualmente de T1 = 85°C - 110°C a T2 = 30°C - 50°C, de modo que la D,L-metionina precipite como un sólido.
