Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a composiciones que comprenden compuestos iónicos rodeados por matrices orgánicas y a métodos para la producción de esas composiciones; en diversas modalidades, las composiciones de la presente invención son cocristales de un compuesto orgánico y una sal; e compuesto orgánico forma matrices con las estructuras de los canales, donde las matrices orgánicas interactúan de manera relativamente mala con la sal, lo cual permite una movilidad fónica excelente a través de las estructuras de los canales; en una modalidad, las composiciones son electrolitos sólidos y blandos, que comprenden iones tales como el litio o sodio, que pueden usarse en baterías u otros dispositivos electroquímicos; las composiciones electrolíticas de la presente invención presentan conductividades iónicas relativamente altas con una barrera de activación insignificante para la migración de iones, es decir, las composiciones presentan una conducción iónica sin barreras; asimismo, las composiciones presentan conductividades buenas a temperaturas muy bajas, lo cual las vuelve útiles en una variedad de aplicaciones a bajas temperaturas; en una modalidad, la presente invención se refiere además a películas autoestables que comprenden los cocristales de la presente invención, así como métodos para preparar esas películas.
