Abstract
La invención descrita se refiere a un sensor de gas amperométrico (10) para medir la concentración de un analito, tal como peróxido de hidrógeno, que comprende: un soporte sólido (22); y un electrodo de trabajo (24A) en contacto con el soporte sólido (22); en donde el analito cuando está en contacto con el soporte sólido (22) incrementa la conductividad eléctrica del soporte sólido. Más particularmente, el soporte sólido (22) está hecho de un material polimérico electroactivo, tal como un polímero de poli (óxido de etileno) que ha formado un complejo con LiSbF6. También se describe la supervisión de un proceso de esterilización, tal como la desinfección de los dispositivos médicos, empleando el sensor de gas amperométrico.
