Abstract

Un objeto de la presente invención es proporcionar un método para la formación de una película de recubrimiento multicapa, el método capaz de lograr una apariencia acabada excelente y resistencia a la corrosión excelente sin afectar la capacidad de aplicación de una capa por electrodeposición incluso cuando una parte o la totalidad del paso de lavado con agua se omite después del tratamiento de conversión química, y proporcionar un artículo recubierto; la invención proporciona un método para la formación de una película de recubrimiento multicapa, que comprende formar una película de recubrimiento de conversión química y una película de recubrimiento por electrodeposición sobre un sustrato metálico por el paso 1 de inmersión de un sustrato de metal en una solución de tratamiento de conversión química para formar una película de recubrimiento de conversión química y paso 2 de omitir una parte o todo el paso de lavado con agua, y realizar el recubrimiento por electrodeposición en el sustrato metálico con una composición de recubrimiento por electrodeposición catiónica para formar una película de recubrimiento por electrodeposición, en donde la solución de tratamiento de conversión química contiene menos de 500 ppm de iones de sodio en una base en masa.
