Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para purificar el virus de rabia, que comprende una sola etapa de cromatografía de intercambio iónico, la etapa que es una cromatografía de intercambio catiónico de acuerdo con la cual: a) el sobrenadante de un cultivo de células infectadas con este virus se lleva en contacto con un sustrato de cromatografía de intercambio catiónico que comprende una matriz de polimetacrilato sobre la cual se han injertado grupos de sulfoisobutilo tal que el virus de rabia se enlaza a este sustrato y b) el virus se eluye del sustrato mismo.
