Abstract
Método y aparato para un generador electrolítico en el sitio de bajo mantenimiento y alta confiabilidad que incorpora monitoreo celular automático de acumulación de película contaminante, así como remoción o limpieza automática de película contaminante. Este método y aparato de preferencia no requieren intervención humana para limpiar. Para celdas de alta densidad de corriente, la limpieza de preferencia se realiza al invertir la polaridad de los electrodos y al aplicar una densidad de menor corriente a los electrodos, de preferencia al ajustar la concentración de salinidad o salmuera del electrolito mientras mantiene el voltaje constante. El flujo de electrolitos de preferencia comprende flujos de agua y salmuera que se monitorean de preferencia por separado y se ajustan de manera automática. Para celdas bipolares, el flujo entre módulos dispuestos en paralelo de preferencia se distribuye aproximadamente de forma equitativa entre módulos y entre electrodos intermedios dentro de cada módulo.
