Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición polimérica o auto-extinguible, que comprende; a) una composición polimérica estabilizadora que contiene i) de 80% a 99.5% en peso de uno o más polímeros vinilaromáticos compatibles entre sí; y ii) de 0.5% a 20% en peso de al menos un copolímero de bloque que contiene: 1) al menos un bloque de polímero vinilaromático compatible con (i) y que constituye una cantidad en peso igual a o mayor que 15% en peso con respecto al copolímero de bloque completo, y 2) al menos un bloque de copolímero de vinilo que contiene grupos epoxi de modo que hay de 0.7% a 19% en peso de oxígeno de oxirano calculado en el total de copolímero de bloque; y b) de 0.03 phr en peso a 10 phr en peso, calculado en base al componente (a), de al menos un retardante halogenado de la flama.
