Abstract
Un dispositivo óptico (22) incluye una carcasa (30), que se ajusta sobre por lo menos parte de un dispositivo de cómputo móvil (24) que tiene primero y segundo lados y que incluye una fuente de luz (29), que emite un haz de iluminación a través de una abertura de salida, y un módulo de cámara (27), que captura imágenes a través de una abertura de entrada. Un receptáculo (31) en la carcasa recibe y coloca una muestra (56) en proximidad al segundo lado del dispositivo de cómputo móvil dentro de un campo de visión del módulo de cámara. La óptica de iluminación (36), (38) recibe y gire el haz emitido por la fuente de luz para retro-iluminar la muestra mientras el módulo de cámara captura una o varias imágenes de la muestra retro-iluminada.
