Abstract

Se proporciona un método para producir pirimidin-5-ol disustituido en las posiciones 2 y 4 y, especialmente, 2,4-dimetilpirimidin-5-ol y un intermedio de este utilizado en la producción industrial. El método de producción de acuerdo con la presente invención incluye una etapa de producción de pirimidin-5-ol disustituido en las posiciones 2 y 4 de acuerdo con una reacción de hidrólisis de un compuesto de tipo 5-(4-(nitrofenil)oxi)pirimidina disustituida en las posiciones 2 y 4 y es adecuado para la producción industrial ya que se puede utilizar un material de partida barato y fácil de conseguir, la regioselectividad de un grupo sustituyente se controla fácilmente, las impurezas se controlan fácilmente y se puede producir pirimidin-5-ol disustituido en las posiciones 2,4 sin utilizar reactivos e intermedios que provoquen riesgos, problemas de salud y similares.
