Abstract
Se describe un dispositivo para recuperar calor y humos de escoria que resulta del ciclo de producción del acero que permite que el calor emitido por la escoria durante el enfriamiento se use sin la necesidad de recolectar la escoria en tinas que después deben transportarse a la superficie de enfriamiento y volcarse para descargar la escoria; al mismo tiempo, este dispositivo permite que los humos, y consecuentemente el calor y los contaminantes que la escoria emite durante el volcado y el tiempo sobre la superficie de enfriamiento, se transporten y traten.
