Abstract

Un método para tratar agua residual que contiene fosfato, como agua de estanque con fosfoyeso. El método incluye los pasos de: (a) agregar un primer catión al agua residual para precipitar el fluorosilicato del agua residual; (b) agregar un segundo catión al agua residual para precipitar el fluoruro del agua residual ; (c) elevar el pH del agua residual para precipitar el segundo catión del agua residual; (d) quitar la sílice residual del agua residual y (e) precipitar el fosfato del agua residual. El fluorosilicato precipitado puede ser fluorosilicato de sodio. El fosfato precipitado puede ser estruvita.
