Abstract

Un sistema de control hidráulico de una transmisión automática con un convertidor de par incluye dos válvulas reguladoras controladas por un único solenoide de fuerza variable (VFS). Una válvula reguladora del embrague de derivación aumenta la presión a una cámara de aplicación del embrague de derivación a medida que la presión del VFS aumenta. Una válvula reguladora de carga del convertidor disminuye la presión en un circuito de carga del convertidor a medida que la presión del VFS aumenta. El circuito de carga del convertidor está en serie con un circuito de lubricación. Un orificio restringe el flujo a través de estos circuitos de modo que ellos puedan están alimentados desde el circuito de presión en línea antes que desde un circuito de baja prioridad. En una realización, un solenoide de encendido/apagado abre una válvula de control de flujo para evitar el orificio cuando se requiere flujo adicional. En otra realización, una bomba eléctrica complementa el flujo en estos circuitos cuando fuera requerido. La última realización incluye una válvula de interrupción de modo tal que la bomba eléctrica también asiste en la operación de detención/arranque.
