Abstract
La invención se refiere a una composición de sal de nitrato que contiene los constituyentes esenciales un nitrato de metal álcali y, opcionalmente, un nitrito de metal álcali en una cantidad total en el rango de 90 a 99,84 % en peso y un compuesto de metal álcali seleccionado del grupo que comprende B1) óxido de metal álcali, B2) carbonato de metal álcali, B3) compuesto de metal álcali que se descompone en el rango de temperatura de 250 °C a 600 °C para formar un óxido de metal álcali o un carbonato de metal álcali, B4) hidróxido de metal álcali MetOH, en donde Met indica litio, sodio, potasio, rubidio, cesio, B5) peróxido de metal álcali Met2O2, en donde Met indica litio, sodio, potasio, rubidio, cesio y B6) superóxido de metal álcali MetO2, en donde Met indica sodio, potasio, rubidio, cesio, en una cantidad total en el rango de 0,16 a 10 % en peso, los porcentajes se presentan con respecto a la composición de sal de nitrato.
