Abstract

Una composición de polihidroxialcanoato teniendo de forma adecuada un alargamiento a la rotura (ASTM D638) superior al 3%, una resistencia al impacto (ISO179 1eA, 23°C, no ranurada) superior a 18 KJ/m2 y un módulo de flexión de por lo menos 950 MPa que comprende:- al menos el 25% en peso de un componente polihidroxialcanoato (I), compuesto por uno o más copolímeros de hidroxialcanoato y en donde el contenido de homopolímero poli(3-hidroxibutirato) es menor al 5% en peso; - del 5 al 40% en peso de uno o más polímeros termoplásticos como un componente no-polihidroxialcanoato (II) seleccionado del grupo que consiste en (lla) un poliuretano termoplástico; una mezcla de poliuretano termoplástico (lla) y (llb) un polímero acrílico; un copolímero de bloque de acrílico (Ilb1) con un núcleo basado en butadieno y/o caucho basado en acrílico y que está entrelazado; un terpolímero acrílico (llb2) que contiene glicidilo y/o grupos maleicos; y sus mezclas, que comprenden no más de 5% en peso de polímeros biodegradables (ASTM D6400); - del 0 al 40% en peso de uno o más rellenos (III); - del 0 al 20% en peso de uno o más plastificantes (IV); y - del 0 al 10% en peso de uno o más aditivos (V); en donde el componente (I) y (II) juntos comprenden al menos el 40% en peso de la composición, y el % en peso de los componentes se calculó en el peso total de los componentes (I) a (V) de la composición y añade hasta el 100% en peso; la composición de polihidroxialcanoato puede utilizarse para la elaboración de artículos durables que pueden ser etiquetados como conteniendo más deI 20% de carbono no fósil y de artículos preparados a partir de esta.
