Abstract

COMPOSIÇÃO DE POLIHIDROXIALCANOATO, SEU USO E ARTIGOS. Uma composição de polihidroxialcanoato tendo adequadamente um alongamento à ruptura (ASTM D648) superior a 3%, uma resistência ao impacto (IS0179 1 e A, 23°C, sem entalhe) superior a 18 KJ/m2, e um módulo de flexão de pelo menos 950 MPa, compreendendo: -pelo menos 25% em peso de um componente (I) de polihidroxialcanoato compreendendo um ou mais copolímeros de hidroxialcanoato e em que o teor do homopolímero de poli(3-hidroxibutirato) é inferior a 5% em peso; - de 5 a 40% em peso de um ou mais polímeros termoplásticos como um componente (lI) de não polihidroxialcanoato,selecionados a partir do grupo consistindo de um poliuretano termoplástico (lIa); uma mistura de um poliuretano termoplástico (lIa) e um polímero acrílico (Ilb); um copolímero em bloco de acrílico (IIb1) com um núcleo que é de à base de butadieno e/ou à base de borracha de acrílico, e que é reticulado; um terpolímero acrílico (IIb2) contendo grupos de glicidil e/ou maleico; e misturas dos mesmos, compreendendo não mais do que 5% em peso de polímeros biodegradáveis (ASTM D6400); -de 0 a 40% em peso de uma ou mais cargas (Ill); -de 0 a 20% em peso de um ou mais plastificantes (IV); e - de 0 a 10% em peso de um ou mais aditivos (V), em que os componentes (I) e (II) em conjunto compreendem pelo menos 40% em peso da composição, e a % em peso dos componentes é calculada em relação ao peso total dos componentes (I) a (V) da composição, e somada até 100% em peso. A composição de polihidroxialcanoato pode ser utilizada para a preparação de bens duráveis que podem ser rotulados como contendo mais de 20% de carbono não fóssil, e para os artigos preparados a partir da mesma.
