Abstract

La invención se relaciona con un método para detectar un evento de descarga de líquido en un artículo absorbente, en donde el artículo absorbente comprende un sensor adaptado para generar una señal de salida eléctrica representativa de un grado de humedecimiento del artículo absorbente, en donde la señal de salida eléctrica se recibe por una unidad de procesamiento. El método comprende las etapas de proporcionar datos de referencia con respecto al tiempo representativo de una descarga de líquido; adquirir datos de descarga de líquido con respecto al tiempo en forma de la señal de salida eléctrica; analizar los datos de descarga de líquido con respecto al tiempo en relación a los datos de referencia con respecto al tiempo por medio de la unidad de procesamiento; y detectar un evento de descarga de líquido en base en el análisis. La invención se relaciona también con un sistema para detectar un evento de descarga de líquido en un artículo absorbente, el sistema comprende un artículo absorbente que comprende un sensor que se coloca para generar una señal de salida representativa de una propiedad eléctrica y una unidad de procesamiento adaptada para procesar la señal de salida generada por el sensor del artículo absorbente. La unidad de procesamiento está adaptada para realizar el método de acuerdo con la invención y detectar un evento de descarga de líquido en el artículo absorbente en base en el método.
