Abstract
La presente invención se refiere e mejoras en método para producir una composición a base de aleaciones de carburo y aglutinante metálico, que comprende formar mediante difución una saolución sólida de monocarburo de tungsteno hexagonal y monocarburo de molibdeno de compocición estequiométrica que contiene entre 10 y 100 moles de monocarburo de molibdeno, la mejora que comprende los pasos de: formar una mezcla íntimamente enlazada de la composición completa deseada que incluye hasta 4 por ciento atómico de un metal auxiliar de difusión, calentar la mezcla a una temperatura mayor de 1900°C y dentro de la escala de la estabilidad de soluciones de carburo basadas en molibdenoi cúbico tungsteno, reducir la temperatura de la mezcla a una temperatura menor de 1900°C y dentre de la escala de estabilidad de soluciones de carburo basadas en molibdeno hexagonal tungsteno para prroducir la nucleación de soluciones de carburo basadas en molibdeno cúbico-tugnsteno mantener la temperatura de la mezcla a temperatura baja durante el período suficiente de tiempo [para que se complete la formaciónes de soluciones de carburo basadas en molibdeno hexagonal-tunsgteno.
