Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a la utilización de un polvo pre-aleado como aglutinante en la fabricación de herramientas de diamante por sinterización en caliente. Este polvo se caracteriza por presentar un tamaño medio de partícula inferior a 10 {mu}m, medido con el sub-tamizador de Fischer y una pérdida de masa por reducción de hidrógeno de menos de 2% medida según la norma ISO 4491-2:1989. Además, este polvo contiene, en porcentaje en peso, hasta un 40% de cobalto, 50% de níquel, 5 a 80% de hierro, y 5 a 80% de cobre. Los otros componentes del polvo son impurezas inevitables.
