Abstract
Un aparato y métodos para cargar una o más baterías de manera ultrarrápida, que incluyen, por ejemplo, baterías de iones de litio; una corriente de carga se determina por medio de la optimización de un modelo basado en las funciones de un conjunto de variables de estado interno asociadas con una batería, y un conjunto de parámetros modelo o datos no paramétricos que caracterizan la batería; se determinan las variables de estado interno instantáneas y se aplica una corriente de carga optimizada a la batería sometida a un conjunto de limitaciones específicas de las baterías; las variables de estado interno están actualizadas con recursividad con base en el comportamiento de la batería que se carga así como el comportamiento, almacenado en la base de datos, o adquirido por medio de una red, de baterías análogas.
