Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento mejorado para la preparación de la amida del ácido nicotínico, a partir del nitrilo del ácido por hidrólisis con hidróxidos alcalinos a temperatura elevada, en caso dado bajo presión reducida, caracterizado porque la hidrólisis se ejecuta a temperaturas de aproximadamente 110 a 250°C.
