Abstract

La presente invención proporciona una composición de mezcla de polietileno teniendo acumulación de rodillo de enfriamiento reducida durante el proceso de extrusión, y películas y capas de recubrimiento hechas a partir de la misma. La composición de mezcla de polietileno de acuerdo con la presente invención proporciona acumulación de rodillo de enfriamiento reducida durante el proceso de extrusión, y comprende: (a) desde 60 hasta 95 por ciento en peso de una composición de polietileno lineal comprendiendo menos de o igual a 100 por ciento en peso de las unidades derivadas de etileno, y menos de 15 por ciento en peso de unidades derivadas de uno o más comonómeros de a-olefina; en donde dicha composición de polietileno lineal tiene una densidad en el rango desde 0.917 hasta 0.975 g/cm3, una distribución de peso molecular (Mw/Mn) en el rango desde 1.70 hasta 3.62, un índice de fusión (12) en el rango desde 2 hasta 50 g/10 minutos, y una insaturación de vinilo en el rango desde menos de 0.06 vinilos por mil átomos de carbono presentes en la composición de polietileno lineal; y (b) desde 5 hasta 40 por ciento en peso de una composición de polietileno de baja densidad (LDPE) teniendo una densidad en el rango desde 0.915 hasta 0.930 g/cm3, y un índice de fusión (12) en el rango desde 0.4 hasta 10; en donde la composición de mezcla de polietileno tiene una densidad en el rango de 0.917 hasta 0.960 g/cm3 y un índice de fusión (l2) en el rango desde 2 hasta 30 gua minutos.
