Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a construcciones genéticas capaces de manipular la biosíntesis de fructosano en las, células fotosintéticas de una planta, dichas construcciones genéticas incluyen un promotor, o sus fragmentos o variantes funcionalmente activos, unidos operativamente a un ácido nucleico que codifica una enzima FT bacteriana, o uno de sus fragmentos o variantes funcionalmente activos. La presente invención también se refiere a la modificación de la biosíntesis de fructosano en las plantas y, más particularmente, a los métodos de manipular la biosíntesis de fructosano en las células fotosintéticas. La presente invención también se refiere a aumentar la biomasa vegetal y, más particularmente, a los métodos para aumentar el rendimiento de la biomasa y/o estabilidad del rendimiento, que incluye crecimiento de brotes y/o raíces en una planta. La presente invención también se refiere a métodos para mejorar la productividad de las rutas bioquímicas.
