Abstract
La presente se refiere a constructos genéticos capaces de manipular la biosíntesis de fructano en las células fotosintéticas de una planta, dichos constructos genéticos incluyen un promotor, o sus fragmentos o variantes funcionalmente activos, unidos operativamente a un ácido nucleico que codifica una enzima FT bacteriana, o uno de sus fragmentos o variantes funcionalmente activos. La presente también se refiere a la modificación de la biosíntesis de fructano en las plantas y, más particularmente, a los métodos de manipular la biosíntesis de fructano en las células fotosintéticas. La presente también se refiere a aumentar la biomasa de la planta y, más particularmente, a los métodos de aumentar el rendimiento de biomasa y/o estabilidad de rendimiento, que incluye crecimiento de brotes y/o raíz en una planta. La presente también se refiere a métodos de mejorar la productividad de las vías bioquímicas.
