Abstract
Se describe una placa de acero para el forjado en frío que comprende una placa de acero laminada en caliente, la placa de acero laminada en caliente que contiene, en términos de % en masa, 0.13-0.20% C, 0.01-0.8% Si, 0.1-2.5% Mn, 0.003-0.030% P, 0.0001-0.008% S, 0.01-0.07% Al, 0.0001-0.02% N, y 0.0001-0.0030% O, con el resto comprendiendo Fe e impurezas incidentales, y que tiene un valor A mostrado mediante la ecuación (1) de 0.0080 o menos y un espesor de 2-25 mm. En una sección transversal paralela a la dirección de laminación de la placa de acero laminada en caliente, la cantidad en porcentaje de área de las bandas de perlita que tienen una longitud de 1 mm o más que están presentes en el área que varía dentro del rango desde (4/10)t hasta (6/10)t, donde t es el espesor de la placa, es no más que el valor K mostrado mediante la ecuación (2).
