Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método y a un aparato para prepara una placa madre (1) de un cátodo permanente (2) que va a ser usado en un proceso para la recuperación electrolítica de metal tal como la electrorefinación de metales o la extracción de metales por vía electrolítica. El aparato comprende unos medios de sujeción (8) para sujetar liberablemente el cátodo permanente (2), unos medios de medición (4) para medir la configuración de una placa madre (1) para obtener datos de medición, unos medios de cálculo conectados funcionalmente con los medios de medición (4) y configurados para calcular la desviación geométrica de la placa madre (1) en comparación con una forma de referencia predefinida usando dichos datos de medición medidos por dichos medios de medición (4), y unos medios de prensado (3) funcionalmente conectados con los medios de cálculo y configurados para presionar local y automáticamente la placa madre (1) de acuerdo con la desviación geométrica calculada de la placa madre (1) para deformar elásticamente la placa madre 81).
