Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método óptico para inspeccionar contenedores (2), el método consiste en: producir al menos una imagen (10) de cada contenedor, determinar en la imagen del contenedor, cuando menos una zona de búsqueda (Zr) en la cual aparece al menos un patrón visual (3); producir una mascarilla digital (Mi() para cuando menos una zona (Zr) para procesar las imágenes que comprenden cuando menos el patrón visual (3), y comparar cuando menos cada pixel de la zona de tratamiento de imágenes con una mascarilla digital Mi). De acuerdo con la invención, el método consiste en: seleccionar cuando menos un patrón visual (3) perteneciente al contenedor; determinar la posición y la orientación del patrón visual (3) seleccionado en el área de búsqueda (Zr) de la imagen del contendor; aplicar una transformación geométrica (T) a la mascarilla digital (mi) o la zona de procesamiento (Zt) para ser capaz durante la etapa de procesamiento, de colocar la mascarilla (Mi) y la zona de procesamiento (Zt) en una posición de coincidencia; y aplicar una operación de procesamiento de imágenes a cada pixel de la zona de procesamiento (Zt) dependiendo del valor de la intensidad del pixel coincidente de la mascarilla digital.
