Abstract
Se proporciona una composición pirotécnica de poco humo. La composición puede incluir nitrato de amonio cérico 1 como oxidante, fuente de combustible, estabilizador y aglutinante. El uso de nitrato de amonio cérico como un agente oxidante dentro de la composición puede resultar en la reducción de la cantidad de humo generado durante la combustión de la composición, que puede ser beneficioso para determinadas aplicaciones pirotécnicas. En determinadas construcciones, la composición puede incluir nitrato de amonio cérico como oxidante, nitroce1ulosa y titanio como fuentes de combustible, cianoguanidina como estabilizador, óxido cúprico como catalizador de la velocidad de combustión y cualquier agente aglutinante adecuado. La cantidad de nitrato de amonio cérico en porcentaje en peso de la composición puede tener un intervalo entre 20-80 por ciento, 30-40 por ciento o 30.0-37.5 por ciento. En determinadas configuraciones, la cantidad de nitrato de amonio cérico 20 puede ser de alrededor de 36.7 por ciento en peso.
